Ethiopia kills 7 Sudanese soldiers, civilian in border area

Ethiopia killed seven Sudanese soldiers and a civilian in a border area in the latest sign of deteriorating ties between the east African nations.

A Sudanese military statement late Sunday described the killings as a “cowardly act” and said Khartoum would retaliate.

에티오피아는 최근 동아프리카 국가들간의 관계가 악화되고 있는 상황에서 국경 지역에서 7명의 수단 군인과 1명의 민간인을 살해했다.

한편 수단군은 성명을 통해 이번 테러를 ‘비겁한 행동’이라고 밝히면서 응징을 시사했다.
