Israeli military discharges 4 soldiers who beat Palestinians

The Israeli military said Wednesday it has discharged four soldiers for attacking Palestinians without cause, after video circulated on social media showing them beating and kicking two detainees.

The soldiers had stopped a Palestinian vehicle north of the West Bank city of Ramallah two weeks ago and forced the driver and the passenger out, the military said. The video, uploaded on TikTok, shows them beating and kicking the two men.

이스라엘군은 팔레스타인인 억류자 2명을 구타하고 발로 차는 장면이 담긴 동영상이 소셜미디어에 유포된 뒤 이들을 이유 없이 공격한 혐의로 군인 4명을 제대시켰다고 밝혔다.

군 당국은 해당 군인들은 2주 전 요르단강 서안 도시 라말라 북쪽에서 팔레스타인 차량을 세우고 운전자와 승객을 강제 퇴거시켰다고 밝혔다. 틱톡에 올라온 영상에는 이들이 두 남성을 때리고 발로 차는 모습이 담겨 있다.
