Flights resume at Syrian capital airport after Israel strike

The international airport in Syria’s capital of Damascus resumed flights on Thursday after nearly two weeks following an Israeli airstrike that caused serious damage to the facility, a private company said.

Cham Wings Airlines said it had four flights that took off from the Damascus International Airport on Thursday for Kuwait, Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Iraq.

시리아 수도 다마스쿠스에 있는 국제공항이 이스라엘의 공습으로 시설물에 심각한 피해를 입힌지 거의 2주일 만에 항공편을 재개했다고 민간 회사가 목요일 밝혔다.

참 윙스 항공은 다마스쿠스 국제공항에서 쿠웨이트, 오만, 아랍에미리트, 이라크를 향해 이륙한 4개의 항공편이 있다고 밝혔다.
