Qatar to boost investment in Spain by $4.9 billion

Qatar committed Wednesday to pouring 4.7 billion euros ($4.9 billion) into Spain to invest in the economic overhaul the European country has launched thanks to its European Union pandemic recovery windfall.

Qatar’s Emir Shekih Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani announced that the energy-rich gulf state would boost its investments in Spain at a state dinner with Spanish King Felipe VI late Tuesday.

카타르는 수요일 유럽연합(EU)의 코로나바이러스 대유행의 소강상태에 힘입어 스페인에 47억유로를 투자하기로 약속했다.

카타르의 셰키 타밈 빈 하마드 알타니 에미리트는 화요일 펠리페 6세 스페인 국왕과의 국빈만찬에서 에너지자원이 풍부한 걸프 국가가 스페인 투자를 늘릴 것이라고 발표했다.
