Germany reopens embassy in Kyiv, supports war crimes probes

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock on Tuesday reopened her country’s embassy in Kyiv that was closed more than two months ago following the Russian invasion.

Baerbock, the first German Cabinet member to visit Ukraine since the start of the war, also pledged that Berlin would provide further support to Kyiv, including when it comes to investigating and prosecuting war crimes.

독일, 키이우에 대사관 다시 열고 전범 조사 지원

아날레나 바어보크 독일 외무장관은 화요일 러시아 침공 이후 폐쇄된 키이우 주재 독일 대사관을 재개관했다고 밝혔다.

전쟁 시작 이후 처음으로 우크라이나를 방문한 독일 각료인 베어복은 또한 베를린이 전쟁 범죄를 조사하고 기소하는 것을 포함하여 키이우에 더 많은 지원을 제공할 것이라고 약속했다.
