미국 증권시장 주가 상승, 유가 하락

미국 증권시장의 주가는 견조한 출발을 보였고, 유가는 최근의 상승장에서 벗어나고 있다. 이는 이미 높아진 인플레이션에 대한 투자자들의 우려를 악화시켰다. S&P 500지수는 초반에 0.6% 상승했고 다우존스 산업평균지수도 비슷한 상승률을 보였다. 유럽 증시도 상승했고 아시아 증시도 상승 마감했다. 미 연방준비제도이사회(FRB) 의장인 제롬 파월 미 연방준비제도이사회(FRB) 의장이 필요하다면 금리를 인상하기 위해 보다 적극적으로 움직일 준비가 돼 있다고 밝힌 지 하루 만에 채권 수익률은 계속 상승했다. 

Stocks open higher on Wall Street, oil prices ease lower

Stocks are off to a solid start on Wall Street and oil prices are easing back from their recent upward march, which had worsened investors’ already heightened worries about inflation. The S&P 500 was up 0.6% in the early going, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up a similar amount. European markets were also higher and Asian markets closed higher overnight. Bond yields continued to rise a day after Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell said the central bank was prepared to move more aggressively in raising interest rates in its fight against inflation, if it needed to.
