튀니지 정당, 의원 사망에 “경찰의 과도한 폭력” 비난

튀니지의 온건 이슬람 정당은 지난주 시위 이후 병원에 입원한 튀니지 당원 중 한 명이 사망한 것을 치안부대의 과도한 폭력 때문이라고 비난했다.

엔나하당은 리다 보지안(57)이 지난 수요일 대통령의 정책에 반대하는 시위에서 경찰관들의 폭력으로 뇌출혈로 사망했다고 밝혔다. 

Tunisian party blames death of member on police violence

Tunisia’s moderate Islamist party has blamed the death of one of its party members who was hospitalized following protests last week on the “excessive violence” of the security forces.

The Ennahdha party said that Ridha Bouziane, 57, died on Wednesday after succumbing to a brain hemorrhage that they say was caused by violence meted out by police officers at a protest on Jan. 14 against the president’s policies.
