파키스탄, 아프가니스탄에 관한 회담 위해 미국, 러시아, 중국 초청

파키스탄은 미국, 러시아, 중국 특사들과 아프가니스탄 문제에 관한 회담을 목요일 열었다. 지난 8월 탈레반이 아프가니스탄을 점령한 이후 많은 아프간인들이 이웃 국가로 이주해야 했다.

탈레반이 임명한 아미르 칸 무타키 외무장관은 이슬라마바드에 있었지만 회의에 참석하지는 않았다. 국제사회는 탈레반이 아프가니스탄을 장악한 후 수립한 정부를 인정하지 않고 있다. 

Pakistan hosts US, Russia, China for talks on Afghanistan 

Pakistan on Thursday hosted talks with special envoys from the United States, Russia and China on the path forward for Afghanistan, where a deepening humanitarian crisis has forced many Afghans to migrate to neighboring countries since the Taliban takeover in August.

Afghanistan’s Taliban-appointed foreign minister, Amir Khan Muttaqi, was in Islamabad but did not attend the meeting. The international community has not recognized the government appointed by the Taliban after they overran the country.
