시리아 수도에서 버스 폭탄으로 14명 사망, 다른 곳에서도 10명 사망

수요일 시리아군을 태운 버스에 부착된 폭탄 2개가 오전 출근시간대에 다마스쿠스에서 폭발했다고 군 관계자가 밝혔다. 이 공격으로 14명이 사망, 이 곳에서 가장 많은 사망자가 발생했다. 

시리아 정부가 반군이 장악한 북서부 지역을 포함한 일부 지역에서 10년 동안 저항세력과 충돌이 계속되고 있는 가운데, 다마스쿠스에서의 폭탄 테러는 2018년 바샤르 아사드 대통령의 군대가 수도 교외에서 반대 세력들을 몰아낸 이후 매우 드물어진 상태였다. 

Bus bombs kill 14 in Syria capital; shells elsewhere kill 10

Two bombs attached to a bus carrying Syrian troops exploded in Damascus during the morning rush hour Wednesday, a military official said. Fourteen people were killed in the attack, one of the deadliest in the capital in years.

While the Syrian government’s decade-long conflict with insurgents continues in parts of the country including the rebel-held northwest, bombings in Damascus have become exceedingly rare since President Bashar Assad’s troops pushed opposition fighters from the capital’s suburbs in 2018.
