뉴욕시 공공도서관 연체료 부과 종료

화요일 뉴욕시 공공도서관 관계자는 연체료를 더 이상 부과하지 않고 연체 도서와 기타 자료에 대한 기존 과태료를 면제할 것이라고 발표했다.

코로나 바이러스 대유행으로 인해 연체료는 이미 2020년 3월 이후로 중단된 가운데 영구히 사라질 것이라고 이 도시의 3개 도서관 시스템의 선출직 관리들과 지도자들은 보도자료를 통해 말했다.

NYC public libraries will end late fees in push for equity

New York City’s public libraries will no longer charge late fees and will waive existing fines for overdue books and other materials, city officials announced Tuesday.

Late fees had already been suspended since March 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic and will now be permanently eliminated, elected officials and leaders of the city’s three library systems said in a news release.
