회색곰 습격으로 몬태나 주 서부 야영객 사망

화요일 새벽 몬태나 주 서부에서 회색 곰 한 마리가 야영 중이던 사람을 공격해 죽였으며, 이로 인해 야생동물 관리들과 이 동물을 죽이려고 계획한 경찰들의 집중적인 수색을 촉발시켰다고 관계자들은 밝혔다.

새벽에 발생한 공격은 헬레나에서 북서쪽으로 약 97킬로미터 떨어진 100명도 안 되는 마을인 오반도에서 일어났다고 몬타나 어류 야생동물 공원 대변인 그레그 레몬이 말했다.

Grizzly bear attacks, kills camper in western Montana

A grizzly bear attacked and killed a person camping in western Montana early Tuesday, triggering an intensive search for the bruin by wildlife officials and law enforcement officers who planned to kill the animal, officials said.

The pre-dawn attack happened in Ovando, a town of fewer than 100 people about 60 miles (97 kilometers) northwest of Helena, said Greg Lemon, a spokesperson with Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks.
