Johnson & Johnson delays vaccine rollout in Europe

Johnson & Johnson said Tuesday it is delaying the rollout of its coronavirus vaccine in Europe amid a U.S. probe into reports of rare blood clots in some recipients.

The announcement came after regulators in the United States said they were recommending a “pause” in administration of the single-dose shot to investigate reports of potentially dangerous blood clots.

이번 발표는 미국 내 규제당국이 잠재적으로 위험한 혈전 발생에 대한 보고를 조사하기 위해 1회 복용량 투여 시 "일시정지"를 권고하고 있다고 밝힌 이후 나온 것이다.
