British queen's husband, Prince Philip, admitted to hospital

Britain’s 99-year-old Prince Philip has been admitted to a London hospital after feeling unwell, Buckingham Palace said Wednesday.

The palace said the husband of Queen Elizabeth II was admitted to the private King Edward VII Hospital on Tuesday evening.

It called the admission “a precautionary measure” taken on the advice of Philip’s doctor. The palace said Philip is expected to remain in the hospital for a few days of “observation and rest.”

수요일, 영국 버킹엄궁은 여왕의 남편 필립공(99세)이 몸이 좋지 않아 런던 병원에 입원했다고 밝혔다.

영국 왕실은 엘리자베스 2세 여왕의 남편이 화요일 저녁 사립 에드워드 7세 병원에 입원했다고 전했다.

이번 입원은 필립의 주치의의 조언에 따른 "예방 조치"로 여겨지고 있다. 버킹엄궁은 필립이 며칠간 '관찰과 휴식'을 위해 병원에 머물 것으로 예상된다고 밝혔다.
