Wall Street wobbles a day after tumbling into bear market

Wall Street is wobbling between gains and losses Tuesday in its first trading after tumbling into a bear market on worries about a fragile economy and rising rates.

The S&P 500 was 0.1% higher in early trading after a couple big companies flexed financial strength with stronger profits and payouts to shareholders. It was an unsteady gain, though, with the index swinging between a 0.1% loss and a 0.8% rise within the first half hour.

약세장에 진입하여 흔들리는 미국 증시

미국 증시가 취약한 경제와 금리 인상에 대한 우려로 약세장에 빠진 가운데 화요일 첫 거래에서 이익과 손실 사이에서 크게 흔들렸다. 

S&P 500은 몇 개의 대기업이 더 강력한 이익과 주주 배당금으로 재무 건전성을 강화한 후 초기 거래에서 0.1% 상승했다. 그러나 지수가 전반 30분 이내에 0.1% 손실과 0.8% 상승 사이를 오가며 불안정한 상승세를 보였다.
