터키 의료진, 더 나은 임금과 더 안전한 작업환경 위해 파업 개시
터키 의사들과 의료진 수천명이 월요일부터 이틀간 보호 강화, 근무환경 개선, 임금 인상을 요구하며 전국적인 파업에 돌입했다.
터키 의학 협회는 파업기간 동안 응급 및 집중 치료가 중단되지 않을 것이라고 밝혔다.
Turkish medical workers strike for better pay, safer work
Thousands of Turkish doctors and other medical workers began a two-day nationwide strike on Monday to demand better protection, improved work conditions and higher pay as Turkey suffers soaring inflation.
The Turkish Medical Association said that emergency and intensive care, along with COVID-19 treatments, would not be halted during the strike.
