크로아티아, 미국 브래들리 전투 차량 구매 합의 발표

크로아티아가 미국과 협력 하에 브래들리 차량 89대를 구매하기로 합의했으며 나토 회원국으로서 보병여단을 구성할 계획이라고 안드레이 플렌코비치 총리가 밝혔다.

크로아티아 정부는 1억 9,600만 달러(약 1억 7,300만 유로) 규모의 협상안을 공식 승인할 예정이다. 플렌코빅은 이 가격에는 미국인 기부금 5,100만 달러(약 4,500만 유로)가 포함돼 있다고 밝혔다.

Croatia announces deal to buy US Bradley fighting vehicles

Croatia has reached an agreement with the United States to buy 89 Bradley vehicles as part of cooperation with Washington and plans as a member of NATO to form an infantry brigade, Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic said Wednesday.

Croatia’s government is expected to formally endorse the $196 million (173 million-euro) deal at a session on Thursday. Plenkovic said the price includes an American donation of $51 million (45 million euros).
